Barista Course FAQ's

What level of experience do I need for these courses?

  • Barista Pro: No previous experience required
  • 1:1 Barista Pro: Some basic experience recommended
  • Home Barista Workshop: No previous experience required

What is the maximum group size for the barista training courses?

We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 3 people, to ensure plenty of hands-on practice and personalised attention.

Do you offer barista training courses in other languages?

Our team includes Spanish-speaking professionals, and courses can be delivered or supported in Spanish if needed.

What kind of coffee machine will I use during the course?

You’ll train on real, professional café-grade espresso machines and equipment, the same type used in everyday café service. Courses take place in our café in Byron Bay.

Where are the courses located?

All courses are held at our Byron Bay café, located inside of Jonson Lane complex: 139 Jonson St, Byron Bay NSW 2481

Are these courses government-certified?

No, they are not. In Australia, certification isn’t required to work as a barista. What matters most is hands-on experience, confidence, and real coffee skills, and that’s exactly what we focus on.

How can I get a 10% discount?

Invite a friend to join the same course and both of you will receive a 10% discount on the course price (GST not included).

Can I buy a course as a gift for someone else?

Absolutely. Make the purchase as usual and send us a message after checkout. We’ll help you arrange the course details with the person who’ll be attending.
